The State of California, Department
General Services - Telecommunications Division (DGS-TD)
has selected FEI-Zyfer, Inc. to provide GPS-disciplined
Time and Frequency Reference Systems for use in the
California Highway Patrol (CHP) VHF low band simulcast
radio system.
“Our Timing and Synchronization Systems demonstrates our
continuing commitment to meet the needs of Homeland
Security and the Public Safety Sector,” according to
Steve Strang, FEI-Zyfer’s President. “Our modular
approach to system design and our willingness to
customize our products enables us to include the precise
set of features needed to meet our customer’s project
objectives, while keeping costs within budget
constraints.”

FEI-Zyfer
completed delivery of its flagship CommSync II®
Time and Frequency Reference Systems to the County of
Orange - Sheriff Department in January of 2008. Deployed
throughout the County, the systems are used in the
County’s re-banded 800 MHz simulcast public safety
system. |
