Contracts Manager


Job Requirements

The applicants MUST have the following qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to:
  • Support sales staff, including manufacturer’s representatives and international distributors.
  • Ability to manage a staff of subordinates.
  • Prepare formal proposals, quotations, and reports.
  • Generate and maintain Representations and Certifications, including On-Line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA), maintain a Central Contractor Registration (CCR), negotiate General Services Administration contracts and contract modifications, and maintain a GSA published price list.
  • Maintain Manufacturing Forecasts.
  • Detailed functional knowledge of government terms and conditions of contract (e.g., Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS).
  • Detailed functional knowledge of Export Regulations, including International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) export licensing and registration.
  • Detailed functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 2007 or later (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
  • 4 year degree in relevant field and 5 – 10 years cumulative experience.
  • Excellent English skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

The WANTS for this position are:

  • Detailed functional knowledge of Microsoft Project (2007 or later).
  • Ability to assist with the development of marketing collateral materials, including datasheets and advertisements.
  • Working knowledge of Visual Enterprise Modules (Engineering/Manufacturing, Inventory, Sales and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)).
